The SNP Persists with the Scottish Independence Fantasy - Humza Yousaf Makes Another Pointless Speech. And further revelations about Nicola Sturgeon.
As Scotland slides into 2024, the political climate is almost as rocky as the January weather.
Meanwhile further revelations emerge about Nicola Sturgeon and SNP 'transparency' - the deliberate destruction of WhatsApp messages and social media communications by Nicola Sturgeon when she was still Scottish First Minister, SNP health minister and health officials.
The Covid Enquiry has further exposed Nicola Sturgeon and the SNP, meanwhile First Minister Humza Yousaf began the year with another pointless speech about Scottish independence.
It seems that the leadership of the SNP believe that the General Election in 2024 will give them the opportunity tp push the Independence campaign into reality!
Even more bizarre are the revelations at the Covid 19 Inquiry hearings in Edinburgh that during the Covid pandemic, the SNP leadership under Nicola Sturgeon actually thought that the way the Scottish government under SNP direction handled the Covid crisis would act in favour of Scottish independence!
Meanwhile the Covid Inquiry continues to expose Nicola Sturgeon as untrustworthy and anything but 'open and transparent'.
The SNP Has Always Yapped on About 'Democracy' and 'Democratic Processes' When it is Criticising its Political Opponents - But When in Power the SNP Does not Operate with Transparency, Honesty or Open Political Discussion and Debate.
More Revelations from the Covid Inquiry in Edinburgh
A former SNP MSP has declared that Nicola Sturgeon was "such a convincing fraud" over her deliberate deleting of WhatsApp messages, this was the opinion of Joan McAlpine served as an SNP MSP for 10 years. The deleting of WhatsApp messages was not just a regular feature of the SNP leader during the Covid pandemic, but also a regular activity amongst her leadership team; her deputy, John Swinney used 'auto-delete' on all his WhatsApp messages as did most of her key advisors. Apparently the rules on freedom of information did not apply to the SNP leadership.
So much for 'democratic' decision making, openness and transparency. Nicola Sturgeon operated an SNP dictatorship style of governing, she had a so-called 'gold command' of senior advisors and SNP ministers. Together the SNP 'gold command' made policy decisions about Covid lockdowns and population control in meetings where no minutes were recorded and there was no discussion at Scottish government cabinet level, Sturgeon and her select SNP 'gold command' group made all the important decisions.
Now even Humza Yousaf is having to stop making excuses for the former SNP leader and First Minister, this week, faced with all the on-going evidence before the Edinburgh inquiry, he has stated that, he "apologised unreservedly" to the inquiry and to the people of Scotland bereaved by the pandemic, for the Scottish government's failings to hand over the WhatsApp messages dealing with their handling of the Covid pandemic.
Given all that is coming out before the official inquiry in Edinburgh, is the SNP really fit to govern Scotland? And if Scotland had been independent during the pandemic - then how far would the SNP have gone to conceal its actions and what else would they cover up?
Aberdeen
Aberdeen - a city economy declining in real terms - is that what the SNP government means by 'Net-Zero'?
The recently released figures looking into the whole UK economy and earnings has highlighted Aberdeen as a city where earnings, investment and business potential has gone into steep decline.
The Eco-sensitive policies cooked up between the SNP and the Scottish Greens are the kiss of death to Aberdeen as a centre for the British oil and gas industry.
If Scotland was independent under SNP rule, what else would happen to Aberdeen ?
