Alex Salmond Resigns

Conveniently before Holyrood returns to business after the summer break, former SNP supremo Alex Salmond has resigned from the SNP. Not only has Salmond resigned, but with more cheek than an elephant's backside, he has appealed to SNP supporters to crowd-fund his legal action against the Scottish government.

Salmond was accused by female persons unknown of sexual misconduct during his period of time as an MSP. He has of course denied any mis-conduct and has demanded to be told what the charges against him consist of....

In true, democratic style, the former SNP leader has not been told but has been told that he is to be investigated. All of which has left Nicola Sturgeon reeling between loyalties.

Already a sizeable number of SNP members have stepped forward to financially assist Alex Salmond's legal challenge. Which can only be bad news for Nicola Sturgeon because this situation could cause a major rift in the ranks of the SNP and further damage the SNP's credibilty if Alex Salmond is proved to be guilty.

People go away on holiday but the problems that face our folk don't go away and are waiting for them when they come home.

Glasgow - The Forces of Multiculturalism Rally to Defend Illegal immigrants - Refugees - Asylum-Seekers etc etc from eviction. Some Left-wing politicos are actually telling the media that Scotland could face a "humanitarian crisis" if Serco carry out mass evictions at their Glasgow housing units. Left-wing politicians at Glasgow city council are going along with the Marxist inspired myth that hundreds of impoverished refugees and asylum-seekers are going to be thrown onto the streets. the city council has even declared that it is setting up a 'task-force' to handle these 'home-less refugees'.
  Glasgow City Council leader, Susan Aitken has actually stated that Glasgow has one of the largest populations of asylum-seekers in the whole of the United Kingdom. 
Aitken told journalists that, "Glasgow has always been, and will continue to be, a willing and active partner in the resettlement of asylum-seekers in Scotland."
Really ?
Tell that to all the indigenous Scots waiting on the housing lists for a home.
Aitken then went on to say, "The dispersal programme over the past 20 years has had a positive impact on our city."
Really?
A lot of Glasgow folk will NOT agree with that and when did the politicians actually ask the good people of Glasgow if THEY wanted their city to be a key player in resettling migrants and asylum-seekers in Scotland?

Sympathetic journalists try to give the impression that the entire population of the city is on the side of the failed asylum-seekers, refugees and illegal immigrants being housed in Glasgow at the city's expense.

The trouble is that it is not a joke - Sturgeon and the SNP will keep plugging away at the ' Independence ' issue, demanding another 'Indy Referendum' at every twist and turn.

At the moment her excuse is Brexit, but when that has passed by Sturgeon and her SNP cronies will find another excuse to call for an 'Indy Referendum'.
