Humza 'Useless' - Good Riddance!

Humza Yousaf to step down from Scottish politics.

Earlier this month former SNP First Minister Humza Yousaf notified his constituency party membership in the Glasgow Pollok constituency that he would be stepping down as an MSP in May 2026, and would be resigning from what was described as "frontline politics" at Holyrood.

As with all matters around his activities as an MSP, Humza Yousaf tries to throw up a media smokescreen, ignoring all his ministerial failings at Holyrood, ignoring his resignation as First Minister in April 2024 after falling out with his allies in the Scottish Greens who were propping up the struggling SNP government at Holyrood.

Instead Humza Yousaf continues to play the race card in interviews, reminding people for the umpteenth time that when he was nominated as SNP leader and First Minister of Scotland in 2023, he was "the first Asian Muslim to lead a European government". Oh yeah ?  How did that work out then?

THE SCOTTISH GREENS ARE EVEN MORE TO THE LEFT THAN THE SNP

In 2024 the Scottish Greens have pushed every left-wing agenda, not just the assorted 'climate crisis' and environmental issues that you might expect from the Greens, but also 'anti-racism', multi-culturalism, LGBTQ+ and Trans rights, gender recognition and so-called 'gender neutral' or 'gender identity' in primary schools.

The Scottish Green MSP Maggie Chapman has even gone on record to say that she will not define what a Woman is.....but refuses to define what a Trans person is.. because that would be "sexist"!

The Scottish Greens would not only destroy Scotland's oil and gas industry, but would push through ULEZ zones across Scottish towns and cities (as if the SNP are not doing enough of that .

SCOTLAND IS NOT A MULTICULTURAL COUNTRY!

This one statement in the Summer of 2024 really angered those of  here at BM Scotland,

this was part of the press statement given during the Diwali festival in the centre of Edinburgh.

"Scotland is a multicultural society and believes that cultural diversity positively enriches our society."

No it is NOT a multicultural society!

Only certain parts of Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee and Aberdeen tick those boxes and the greater part of Scotland remains a White, European, Celtic nation!

The Fiery Sunwheel Lights Up the Winter Night

2024 was not a good year for the SNP.

In the UK General Election in July 2024 the SNP group in the House of Commons at Westminster was greatly reduced as the resurgent Labour Party took Scottish seats.

Meanwhile as the Labour government is losing ground nationally, in Scotland the SNP now finds itself under pressure from both Labour and Reform UK.

Add to that all the changes of leadership the SNP has suffered across the year and the blocking of SNP reforms pushed forward at Holyrood but blocked by the Westminster government. SNP First Minister John Swinney has been staging damage limitation to the SNP ever since he was elevated to leader.

John Swinney is desperate to salvage some semblance of the SNP as a political force in Scotland to prevent disaster in the Holyrood elections in 2026. Looking at the year the SNP has had in 2024, there is a lot of damage already done.

Turkish Barber Shops

An in depth investigation carried out by a 'Daily Mail' journalist into the rapid expansion of so-called 'Turkish' barber shops across England and Wales has unearthed some worrying facts.

Many of these barber shops, (not all) are operated by criminal syndicates to launder drug money, to operate as cash only outlets to avoid taxes, to employ illegal immigrants, to act as drug couriers, also to people traffic and to act as fronts for prostitution. The list is endless. Also many are not actually Turkish, but can be Kurdish, Syrian, Albanian, Bulgarian, Romanian or even Ethiopian.

According to an interview with the 'Daily Mail' journalist, most of her focus was on towns and cities in England and Wales, but the problem is spreading into Scotland. Most noted were Glasgow and Dundee, but  also spreading out into other other towns in the central belt of Scotland and up the east coast into Aberdeen.

As illegal immigration into the UK is driving this expansion it seems that the police nationally are unwilling to look into the networks of barber shops in the same way they are reluctant to start investigating networks of nail bars and hand car wash businesses.

Nicola Sturgeon is still trying to be relevant in Scottish politics.

On Monday December 16th 2024, the former leader of the SNP and First Minister of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon appeared in a flattering interview article in the Guardian newspaper.

The main focus of the article was Nicola Sturgeon's role in Gay and rights gender politics in Scotland. Sturgeon claimed a key role in getting same-sex marriage legalised in Scottish law, which became legal in December 2014, and she continues to push for transgender reforms in Scotland, the failure to get her 'gender recognition rules' into law still irritates her.

Police Scotland Investigation into SNP Funding and Finances.

Not surprisingly, Sturgeon plays down any mention of the still on going Police Scotland investigation into SNP finances and her husband (Peter Murrell) or her part in that. She conveniently fails to mention that Murrell, the former SNP chief executive was charged with embezzlement and the investigation is continuing.

Bathgate - November 16th 2024.

On Saturday the 16th November a ballad gig was organised in Scotland. This was to coincide with their usual celebration of St Andrews day that is held annually each year. Also for a mark of Remembrance for British personal killed while serving in the Armed Forces. On Wednesday the 13th of November Nick Lowles of Hope not Hate decided he was going to do what he always does and incite Ultra Left Wing Echo Terrorists to mobilise and try and disrupt the gig or attack people wanting to attend the event. Lowles, a fanatical hater of anything traditional about Britain, was spreading his hate through his usual channels via Social Media, getting his minions to phone round and threaten publican’s and threaten any establishment that may let musicians from Rock Against Communism play at the event. Police Scotland also who are advised by Lowles were scrambling around visiting peoples houses and  threatening them. Its utterly disgusting that an organisation such as Police Scotland which is supposed to represent everyone impartially takes orders from Marxists such as Lowles's organisation, a well known instigator that use Communist tactics to threaten law abiding people.
  No laws are broken while these concerts are happening. In fact the event was used to raise money for a project being run by British Movement North West called (Feed the Streets). One of Ian Stuart's acoustic guitar’s was on show and for a donation people attending the event could have their photos taken with it. A sum of £500 was raised for the British Homeless who are left to rot by the British government. This money will buy medical supplies and blankets chocolate and water  and other items they need all for Our People on the streets. Some of them ex soldiers.
  Lowles and his band of Cultural Marxist terrorists (Communists) planned a demonstration at Bathgate Train Station which of course Lowles wouldn’t be present at.  10 of them turned up, so their mobilisation was useless anyway. Lowles then issued a statement saying that his minions and Police Scotland had found the venue and had got it cancelled. Which was just in his and Police Scotland's heads. As the event went ahead as planned, with no trouble, no interference and no violence committed by Lowles's Communist rabble.
  We who attended the event were greeted by good honest people who care about their people and Nation. Who are sick of the ever evident two tiered Political Policing instigated by such people such as Lowles. His vile politics and instigating of Violence towards anyone who disagrees with his political agenda of being master Witch Hunter is all a fallacy within his tiny little head.
  While he and Police Scotland his political puppets were busy persecuting good people, money was raised for the indigenous British Homeless on our streets. While his Communist co horts were holding their 'Demo' in Bathgate, Money was being raised for the indigenous British Homeless.

In Edinburgh, Diwali is celebrated with a free festival that starts with a parade from St Andrew Square, led by the Lord Provost of Edinburgh. The annual event takes place in the first week of November in 2024.

In Edinburgh, Diwali is celebrated with a free festival that starts with a parade from St Andrew Square, led by the Lord Provost of Edinburgh. The annual event takes place in the first week of November in 2024. 

Diwali is a five-day festival of lights, celebrated by millions of Hindus, Sikhs, Jains and Buddhists around the world. 

The Diwali parade features floats with giant Hindu Gods: Ganesha, the Elephant God; Hanuman, the Monkey God and Commander in Chief of Rama’s Army; Shiva, God that destroys and transforms the Universe and the centrepiece of Rama’s Horse-drawn Chariot carrying Rama, his wife Sita, his brother Lakshman and Hanuman returning from exile after killing Demon God Ravana.

Music and dance includes pipe bands, led by the band of the Scottish Regiment and folk dancers from India and Scotland.

At the end of the Edinburgh Diwali Parade the Diwali celebrations move onto The Ross Bandstand in West Princes Street Gardens for live performance typically ranging from Bollywood style dance to dramatic enactment.

A selection of North and South Indian Food will be available and the Festival ends with a firework show around 5.30pm.

Edinburgh Diwali is a registered charity, started as an initiative by the Lord Provost in 2015. The Edinburgh Diwali Festival is free to all.

This is the tenth year that Edinburgh has celebrated the Festival of Lights in the city centre. Edinburgh Diwali began as an Indian festival and this is the largest public Diwali event in Scotland with dancers and musicians from South America, India and Scotland.

Rajnish Singh, President of Edinburgh Diwali, said: “‘We are celebrating our 10th Diwali, Festival of Light, complementing 900 years of Edinburgh city. Diwali is one of the most widely celebrated Indian festivals across the world by the Indian diaspora. We at Edinburgh Diwali organise the festival in such a way that anyone interested can participate with no barriers – open to all and free to attend in the city centre. 

“The organisation of Diwali 2024 is not possible without the hard work of Edinburgh Diwali committee, volunteers, performers, and the support from City of Edinburgh Council and our sponsors. I would like to extend my gratitude to all of them and to our audience for their continued support. Distinguished guests included First Minister of Scotland John Swinney, Leader of the Scottish Labour Party Anas Sarwar MSP, Minister for Equality Kaukab Stewart MSP, Leader of the Scottish Liberal Democrats Alex Cole-Hamilton MSP, Neil Bibby MSP, and the Indian Consul General in Edinburgh, Mr Siddharth Malik. The event brought together over 100 guests, including representatives from community organisations, councillors, and long-time supporters of Edinburgh Diwali.

Dancers from Ahalya Dance Academy and Dance Ihayami showcased traditional and fusion performances, adding to the festive atmosphere.

Mr Rajnish Singh, President of Edinburgh Diwali, extended a warm welcome and expressed gratitude to the sponsor, speakers, performers, attendees, photographers, decorators, and the Scottish Parliament events team on behalf of the Edinburgh Diwali Committee. Guests enjoyed an evening of light refreshments and celebration.

Since when is Scotland a multicultural society?

Edinburgh is supposed to be Scotland's capital city and a shop window for Scotland's traditions, history, culture and heritage - so a week given over to a religious festival celebrating the Hindu religious traditions of the Indian sub-continent is hardly that.

Scotland has already seen Muslim Asian/Pakistani immigrants being elected as MP's or MSP's ; think Anas Sarwar leader of Scottish Labour or former useless First Minister Humza Yousaf for the SNP. And there have been others.

Exactly when and by whom were the Scottish people asked whether they wanted Scotland to become a multi-racial, multicultural country?

A British Movement Campaign Nationwide

Although most of Scotland has so far escaped the worst incursions of Third World immigration and multiculturalism, unlike the greater parts of England, some regions of Wales and more recently some parts of Northern Ireland, the threat is there are is creeping into some parts of Scotland. 

The impact of non-white immigration and colonisation in parts of Scotland is already evident in parts of Glasgow and across some towns and cities of the Central Belt. Plus the likes of Dundee and Aberdeen. The steady drip of non-white colonisation is now starting to affect the Highlands and islands, check out Inverness and 'asylum seekers' in places like Fort William.

The need to counter this threat to Scotland's future generations, BM Scotland is supporting whole- heartedly the British Movement campaign to push the Fourteen words out into the public consciousness - to make the slogan immediately recognised and understood.

Meanwhile in recent weeks.....
Human Trafficking in Scotland?

What is going on?  News media reports of Police Scotland raids on premises in Dundee and Paisley involved in human trafficking.  

Brothels in Paisley and Dundee where young women have been 'imported' from south-east Asia to work as prostitutes and sex slaves in Scotland. And that is the news that has been allowed to be reported, some sources suggest that this is an even bigger problem in Scotland.

Meanwhile 'Operation Branchform' - the investigation into the financial 'irregularities' in the SNP continues to drag on. 

There are reports leaking out that investigators from Police Scotland are becoming increasingly frustrated by the slow pace of the investigation.

**** Alex Salmond Dies - So What Will Happen to the Alba Party?

As this blog goes out - the news comes through of the death of the career Scottish politician and independence obsessed campaigner Alex Salmond.

His legal battles with the Scottish government and with the party hierarchy of the SNP, resulting from his court cases and failed prosecutions around allegations of sexual misconduct were still going through the legal system.

Plus there was still plenty of animosity between Alex Salmond and the leadership of the SNP, both past and present, especially Nicola Sturgeon.

His recent political party the Alba Party has now lost its most experienced and high profile politician. So what now for the Alba Party?
