The 'Daily Record' reported fairly factually
"Armed police descended onto Calder Gardens after receiving the alarm at 8.25am on Monday. Paramedics also attended and two people were found injured."
"A man has been arrested after a knife incident in Edinburgh which left two people needing hospital treatment.
Police firearms officers were called to reports of a man with a bladed weapon in the Calders area of the city at 08:25.
A stand-off followed with a suspect later seen looking out the window of an 11th-floor flat for a number of hours but he was removed by police at around 16:00.
Police Scotland said the incident was not being treated as terror-related."
For reasons so far unexplained, the knifeman had trashed the shelves of the local Premier Store, attacked two people in the store and stabbed at least one of them.
The press statements from Police Scotland emphasised early on that people should not put out 'misinformation' about what was happening in Calder Park on social media, but were less than accurate describing a man carrying a 'bladed object' when in fact he was visibly carrying two large knives!
The Edinburgh News was also fairly honest; "Edinburgh Calder incident: Man arrested after major police incident in Calder leaves two injured".
"Armed police have swooped on an Edinburgh neighbourhood this morning following reports of a man wandering the streets with a ‘bladed weapon’."
"Emergency services descended on the Calder area of the city at around 9am, with police having urged the public to stay away from the area."
Notice that reports in the mainstream media and by Police Scotland carefully avoided identifying that knifeman as a 'New Scot' or any indication of his non-white, ethnic background, even though the images clearly showed it.
And right from the start - "Police Scotland said the incident was not being treated as terror-related."
Why so sure right from the start?
"A stand-off followed within the Cobbinshaw House tower block, which eventually came to an end shortly after 3.30pm."
"The suspect was arrested in connection with a "disturbance" and was quietly removed from the building via a back door to avoid the large crowd that had gathered at the front."
The day after he had been arrested the 'official' statements being put out in the mainstream media described this guy as being a 23 year old male - seriously?
Does this guy look 23 years old?
Why is it that Holyrood, the Political Mainstream Parties, the Media and Police Scotland Believe that Social Cohesion, Diversity and Multiculturalism Has to be Defended at All Cost and 'New Scots' must not be Blamed for any Crimes?
BM Scotland has been told by several sources that Glasgow City Council denies that there are any 'asylum-seeker' hotels in the city. But plenty of Glasgow folk know of tower blocks and hotels where there are one of two homeless, white single mums with kids being housed by the city council services, but the rest of the building is full of single 'migrant' men. The council says 'Look there are not just migrants living there so it is not an asylum seeker building'!
