NICOLA STURGEON'S POPULARITY RATINGS HIT MINUS FOUR !
SNP SUPPORT SLUMPS OVER GENDER RECOGNITION BILL.
The SNP and Nicola Sturgeon's popularity rating slumps.
Just a few months ago the SNP were crowing about their popularity ratings over the Scottish government's and the First Minister's handling of the Covid crisis in Scotland. In fact it was stated that Nicola Sturgeon's popularity ratings stood at over 50% and the SNP was riding on the back of that wave of support.
But now in light of the resistance to the SNP promoted Gender Recognition legislation and a rapid decline in support for the SNP push for Scottish Independence, the popularity ratings for both Nicola Sturgeon and the SNP are in free-fall. Latest figures show that the First Minister's personal popularity ratings are at a record low of Minus Four !
AND WHAT ABOUT THAT SPEECH AT HOLYROOD ?
'WOKE' References to 'Isla Bryson' as "her" and Sturgeon is caught out in front of both Holyrood and a wider TV audience.
On camera the First Minister Sturgeon continues to flounder over Isla Bryson/Adam Graham rapist issues and refers to the self-styled 'trans-woman' Isla Bryson as "her" - cannot describe 'Isla Bryson' as a man pretending to be a woman. Journalists tried without success to get Sturgeon to answer the question if she considered Isla Bryson/Adam Graham as a man or as a woman.
The Scottish Sun had a field day putting the story on its front page and rightfully covered the First Minister's mental gymnastics at the podium as she tried to talk her way out of the mess she had talked herself into.
Nicola Sturgeon is caught between two chairs as feminists challenge the Gender RB.
The First Minister pretends that the weekend mass protest by women in Glasgow against the proposed SNP Gender legislation has any significance. But on the other hand Nicola Sturgeon has always claimed to be a supporter of feminism and women's rights - she cannot have it both ways.
Even More SNP Policy Failures...
And now Sturgeon wants to lower the legal drinking age in Scotland to sixteen, a recipe for disaster if ever there was one. In a BBC interview the First Minister was answering questions on the implications of the Gender Recognition legislation being around the age of sixteen when she broadened it to stating that if you can get married at age sixteen then why can't you drink alcohol in a pub at sixteen ?
Within hours of the interview Sturgeon was back tracking and claimed that her statement was 'misunderstood' and what she actually meant was that the drinking age rules should be "looked at" and were not going to be changed.
