GLASGOW - Saturday July 26th 2025 - What these protests say about politics in Scotland.

GLASGOW - Saturday July26th 2025 - What these protests say about politics in Scotland.

The extremist Left were flexing their muscle and took over the city centre, a warning for the future when things are not going their way.

All the usual slogans of the defenders of multiculturalism and multi-racialism.

The above image was put on-line by SUTR Scotland; note the slogans "Refugees Welcome"  <whether you want them or not!> and the leftist myth "Migrants make our NHS" - no! migrants use our NHS.

The Left are worried by the rising tide of public anger against illegal immigration, the cross Channel invasion and the imposing of 'asylum-seekers' on communities that don't want them taking over local hotels and bringing alien customs and un-British attitudes to our neighbourhoods.

This is how Glasgow Live reported the day, and just from the wording of this mainstream media account of the protests it is clear which side Glasgow Live are on.

Hundreds in Glasgow city centre counter protest to UKIP ‘mass deportations’ march

Protestors gathered on Saturday afternoon (July 26) at Buchanan Street to oppose a rally organised by the UK Independence Party (UKIP), billed as a “mass deportation” march.

Hundreds of counter demonstrators gathered in Glasgow city centre to oppose a ‘mass deportation’ rally.

Protestors gathered on Saturday afternoon (July 26) at Buchanan Street to oppose a rally organised by the UK Independence Party (UKIP), billed as a “mass deportation” march. UKIP estimated 200 would attend the march through the city centre.

In a post announcing the march, UKIP said the demonstration would “send a message to Holyrood that we are taking our country back,” adding: “the people of Glasgow demand mass-deportations.”

UKIP has never had any elected representatives in Glasgow. It has not represented any Scottish seat at Westminster, and has never had a member elected to Holyrood.

At the general election in 2024, UKIP did not stand a single candidate in Glasgow. Councillor Dan Hutchison, elected representative of Govan, called on the council to ban the “fascist” march.

The Green Party councillor said: “I believe the actions and words of the organisers are an incitement to violence and a risk to public safety and order on our streets. UKIP use phrases like “these streets are our streets” and “we will protect ourselves”.

“Well, they aren’t their streets, they belong to the people of Glasgow. And we don’t want fascists calling for our friends and neighbours to be deported.”

The counter protest, attended by trade unionists, faith organisations, and other anti-racist and anti-fascists, was organised by Stand Up to Racism Scotland. Sharing a video of the demo to social media, they said: “Hundreds of anti-fascists and anti-racists from the trade unions, community and faith organisations have answered the call to say that fascists "shall not pass" in Glasgow.”

Notice that statement here: - " we don’t want fascists calling for our friends and neighbours to be deported.”  That obviously includes illegal immigrants who commit serious crimes here.
There was similar reporting in the Daily Record, so it is easy to see how 'impartial' these mainstream media journalists are to events like this.
Also the boast from SUTR "fascists shall not pass in Glasgow".

Daily Record

Hundreds gather in Glasgow city centre protest to UKIP ‘mass deportations’ march"

"Protestors gathered at Buchanan Street to oppose a rally organised by the UK Independence Party (UKIP), billed as a “mass deportation” march."

And from the Herald

"The march is planned for Montrose Street, Cochrane Street, George Square (South), St. Vincent Place, St. Vincent Street, up West Nile Street, round Nelson Mandela Place, and back into West George Street, George Square (North), George Street, High Street, Castle Street before ending at Glasgow Cathedral.

Stand Up to Racism has urged supporters to tell Ukip it is not welcome in Glasgow or Scotland.

On its social media, it states: “Tenconi is a fascist who is trying to radicalise what is left of UKIP, allowing fascist elements to dominate it and trying to build up a group of street thugs to intimidate ethnic minorities, trade unionists and the left. We won't let them!

It added: “As we have successfully done on several occasions recently, let's mobilise to show them a majority of us in Glasgow oppose them and that we say refugees and migrants make Glasgow.”

Notice the Herald telling the leftist the exact route for the UKIP march and repeats the untrue mantra of the multiculturalists "refugees and migrants make Glasgow."

The likes of SUTR ignore the crimes committed by illegal immigrants and tries to pretend that all those making the small boats crossings are "refugees".

The Left are ideologically blind to the crimes that migrants carry out, the likes of SUTR do not accept that these ate illegal immigrants and instead refer to these mostly male economic migrants as 'undocumented migrants' or arriving on our shores as part of 'irregular immigration'.

With the cultural Marxist Left it is always anything but the truth, and as part of the whole progressive, liberal way of thinking, the Greens and the SNP are no better.

The hysterical display by the assorted political Left in central Glasgow on Saturday is a good example as to how the Left will respond when BM Scotland steps up its game in the city centre at some point in the future. It is one thing for them to try to intimidate an organisation like UKIP, but British Movement is something very different.

ALBA DUISG!   SCOTLAND AWAKE!
