IS THIS THE FUTURE FACE OF SCOTTISH POLITICS AT HOLYROOD?
The SNP made this possible..
The Media Headlines Make It Clear
"Trans Green Party candidate with no permanent visa elected to Holyrood
Tamil immigrant was able to stand after SNP ministers loosened the rules last year"
"Two transgender MSPs elected to Holyrood in first for Scottish parliament
Dr Q Manivannan and Iris Duane secured regional list seats for the Scottish Green Party."
"Scotland has elected its first two transgender MSPs to the Holyrood parliament."
"Dr Q Manivannan and Iris Duane both secured regional list seats for the Scottish Green Party. Q Manivannan made history when they were elected in Edinburgh and Lothians East on Friday, and their party colleague’s seat in the Glasgow region was confirmed shortly afterwards."
Is this how ordinary Scots want to be represented in their devolved government?
Has the SNP become so 'Woke' that it has opened the door for rival political parties to push the boundaries to new limits?
More here from the mainstream media - the two new Scottish Green MSP's made their identity politics very clear.
"Dr Manivannan said: “My name is Dr Q Manivannan, I am a transgender Tamil immigrant, my pronouns are they/them.
“I am to some in this country everything that the hateful despise and I am standing here as your MSP now with care."
In Dr Q's Own Words....
“This is what diversity looks like in power.”
Seriously, is this the future of Scottish politics "This is what Diversity looks like in power"?
This how Scottish voters can expect to be represented at Holyrood - a 'New Scot' who has no legal right to stand for election and has no legal right to live permanently in Britain. Yet there 'he/they' is at Holyrood.
And This Statement from the new Glasgow MSP for the Scottish Greens...
"Duane, a biological male who uses she/her pronouns, was catapulted into Holyrood as a Green candidate on the Glasgow regional list.
After being elected, Duane said: “I know that some will focus on the fact that I am the first black MSP and one of the first openly trans MSPs but that’s not what this election was about.”
Since the elections last week, further revelations have come thick and fast with some concerned news outlets pulling no punches....
"A NEW Green MSP faces a race against time to secure a long-term visa — after the Home Office cast doubt on the chances of serving a full term at Holyrood."
"India-born Q Manivannan was elected last Thursday despite facing possible deportation when their student visa expires later this year.
The trans migrant has applied for a graduate visa, which would last three more years, and hopes to secure longer-term residency under a “Global Talent Visa”.
The academic previously studied in Delhi before moving here in 2021 to undertake a PhD in international relations at the University of St Andrews.
In a statement, Manivannan said: “I am in the process of transitioning to a graduate visa, which will allow me to stay in the UK for a further three years.
“At the same time, I am applying for a Global Talent Visa, recognising my contributions to the country, which will allow me to stay in the UK for my parliamentary term and beyond.”
And Also This.....
"Queer Tamil immigrant elected as Green MSP to pocket £77k a year despite not having right to work
A self-described "queer Tamil immigrant", who has been elected as a Scottish Green MSP, will earn £77,711 a year despite not having the right to undertake full-time work in the UK.
Non-binary PhD student Q Mannivannan was allowed to stand after the Scottish Government relaxed legislation to allow non-UK citizens to represent Britons."
Is this what the SNP ministers mean by ''New Scots'?
A Scottish Parliament spokesman said: “It is the responsibility of individual candidates and political parties to ensure that all relevant qualifications for standing for election are met.
“There is no role for the Parliament in carrying out checks on candidates who are elected.”
BM SCOTLAND Rejects this twisted vision of Scottish politics - this is NOT what Scotland is about or should be about in the future.
