THE GENERAL ELECTION GRINDS ON : - Will the SNP be wiped out in the House of Commons?

A number of commentators have mocked First Minister and SNP leader John Swinney's opening speech for the SNP General Election campaign, he said that Scots were faced with a simple choice of "ABC", which he said stood for "Austerity, Brexit and Cost of living" pointing an accusing finger at the Conservative government in Westminster. But cynical pollsters have said that "ABC" stands for the SNP rule at Holyrood "Anything But Competent".

 Meanwhile in the background the rumours and hints about the conduct of Nicola Sturgeon as First Minister and the network of contacts to Humza Yousaf continue to rumble on.

The SNP thinks that John Swinney can convince people that with him in charge now the Scottish voters will forget about the SNP failings and scandals of recent years.

Here is a wee reminder:-

Nicola Sturgeon  - where are all the emails, WhatsApp messages etc that the SNP is holding back from official enquiries?

And what about her involvement in unseating Alex Salmond from the SNP several years ago and what did she know about her husband's financial escapades?

Peter Murrell - aka Nicola Sturgeon's husband -  former chief executive of the SNP and still under investigation by Police Scotland for financial mishandling and possible embezzlement of SNP funds.

Colin Beattie - former SNP party treasurer - under investigation alongside Peter Murrell - is still the MSP for Midlothian and Musselburgh.

Michael Matheson - former SNP Scottish health secretary, currently suspended from Holyrood as an MSP of course for his expense claims. 

Plus all the failings of Humza Yousaf in various minister roles before the calamity of his time as First Minister for Scotland.

And all the SNP failings over their time in government at Holyrood since 2007.
