The latest SNP scam to raise extra money is being mooted by the Nicola Sturgeon circus at Holyrood.
A tourist tax. So in one go the SNP will hit one of Scotland's greatest industries in terms of employment and income. It might work for the bigger hotels in Edinburgh or the golf resorts like Troon or St Andrew's, but how will it affect the Highlands or the Hebrides?
Will such a tax turn people off visiting Scotland?
And exactly what will the SNP squander this new income stream on?
SNP in noisy protest as House of Commons is shut down.
Ian Blackford - the SNP leader of MP's at Westminster led his SNP cohorts in a noisy protest when the official shut down of parliament began. Blackford blustered his opposition to the process and encouraged his SNP colleagues to sing in protest. Later Blackford actually declared that he missed the presence of his (the SNP's) Irish colleagues in the House of Commons, wishing that they had been their to join in the protest..
He was of course referring to the Irish Republicans, Sinn Fein MP's.
Meanwhile the Labour Party showed its true colours by refusing to leave the chamber and loudly sang the Marxist anthem 'The Red Flag'.
