British Movement (Scotland): more bad news for the SNP - more policy failures and on-going scandals.

British Movement (Scotland): more bad news for the SNP - more policy failures and on-going scandals.

First Minister Humza Yousaf - doing what he does best. No wonder that the Al-Mahdi Islamic Centre in Glasgow got such generous financial support from the SNP government.

In a recent BM Scotland blog we commented that scandals emerging from the SNP and its leadership are the 'gift that keeps on giving'. And so it continues....

The SNP Public Spending and Taxation Policies; increasing the top earner tax payment levels in Scotland could see the highest earners moving south to live in England which would mean a loss of potential and actual high tax income for Holyrood.

This insight this week from the Guardian newspaper:

Although the Guardian is a national media mouthpiece for the liberal 'progressive' and Left-wing of British politics, and usually looks favourably on the SNP

Unlike the UK government, Holyrood has few options but to balance its yearly budget. Inflation produced £580m more in tax receipts than projected and the SNP gambled that this would be enough for outlays, such as £100m for NHS waiting lists and higher than expected pay awards, to bolster its flagging appeal. This was a costly bet to lose. The Fraser of Allander Institute warns that the public sector workforce – which accounts for one in five jobs in Scotland – may have to shrink to fill next year’s £1.5bn gap between spending commitments and state revenues.

In a real blow to the SNP obsession with Scottish independence, even the Guardian is at pains to point out that the SNP Scottish government is forced to go cap in hand to Westminster for millions of pounds to function, something an independent Scotland could not do. Perhaps the SNP believes that by some miracle the European Union would fund a newly independent Scotland.

Again the Guardian makes the point:

Egalitarian values have long been the rhetorical basis of Scottish nationalism. The SNP’s policy differentiation did see free university tuition as well as increasing benefits for poorer families. Scotland has a legacy of deep poverty and deindustrialisation. Without more cash from Westminster, the Scottish government’s choices are limited, as its borrowing options are constrained. Humza Yousaf, the SNP first minister, might say higher taxes on the rich build a “fairer society”.

Meanwhile  More SNP Scandals Enter the Public Mind

First of all the recent revelations about the SNP grants to a Glasgow mosque linked to Iran.

It seems that the official SNP admissions about a grant to the Al-Mahdi Islamic Centre and mosque in Glasgow was downplayed and the true value of the grant was almost double the original amount.

Classing the grant as being made to a 'charity', the Scottish government made an initial grant of £193,000 to the Al-Mahdi Foundation from the Scottish 'Climate Change Fund', which comes out of the Scottish government budget.

But it finally emerged in mid-December that the total grants given to the Al-Mahdi Islamic Centre in Glasgow amounted to a staggering £372,000.

Given this Islamic Centre and mosque's close ties to Iran and the Iran Islamic Republic with the regime's known hostility to the United Kingdom and the West, how does the SNP administration justify this?

Do Not Forget Nicola Sturgeon

And it would not be the SNP without more information leaking out about Police Scotland investigations into the SNP linked financial dealings of former First Minister Nicola Sturgeon and her husband.

Did someone mention the purchase of a £95,000 Jaguar car ?                                           Where did the money come from to buy that Jag?

Not forgetting that the investigation into the purchase of the camper van by Sturgeon and her husband has not gone away yet.

British Movement (Scotland) - Latest SNP Scandal - BM News and Views - December 2023 in Scotland.

British Movement Scotland: Latest SNP Scandal BM News and Views - December 2023 in Scotland.

And the SNP continues to provide its own bad news!

Now there are media stories circulating about a sex scandal involving SNP Members of the Scottish Parliament.

First Minister Humza Yousaf has just returned from playing his favourite role as an international statesman at the COP28 conference in Dubai. As is often the case when the First Minister of Scotland is strutting on an international stage he is making bold statements and making promises to Third World politicians as if he is some kind of great leader of a powerful, wealthy nation.

Humza Yousaf has promised that the Scottish government will invest £2 million in the so-called 'climate justice' projects in the Third World countries of the 'global south'.

"Our world-first climate justice fund will continue to focus on communities most affected by climate change, and in order to deliver for those who need it most we must ensure the views and needs of those typically marginalised in such communities – particularly urban voices from the global south and youth perspectives "

Which part of the Scottish government budget is that money being taken from?

Why not invest in the needs of Scotland and the Scottish people?

Meanwhile back at the ranch in Holyrood, the Covid 19 lockdowns were apparently breached by two SNP politicians conducting an extra marital affair.

Rumours and denials abound, but it is strongly suggested that the husband of the woman MSP involved has been threatened with violence (by persons not yet identified) for speaking out.

And do not forget the SNP at the Court of Sessions

The SNP and its lawyers are trying to block Freedom of Information requests, still trying to hide internal SNP documents from scrutiny, still putting up a smokescreen for Nicola Sturgeon.

Remember that when she was First Minister Nicola Sturgeon used to boast about her government's 'transparency' and 'openness' and yet time and again the official Covid-19 inquiry cannot secure the Whats App messages it has requested from the SNP (and Nicola Sturgeon) and for some reason a stack of notes on paper that Nicola Sturgeon used but then destroyed.

So much for 'openness' and 'transparency' in the SNP government.

And the High Court says that the Westminster government rejection of the SNP inspired Gender Recognition reform bill was lawful.

As the week ends, the Hugh Court inflicts another defeat on the SNP government, although the Scottish Greens, plus a number of MSPs from Scottish Labour and of course the Lib Dems had a hand in this failed piece of Holyrood legislation.

Not surprisingly this legal ruling by Scotland's highest court has not gone down well with the 'progressive' elements in Scottish politics.  The "Equality spokesperson" for the Scottish Greens has said that the high court ruling as a "democratic outrage" and "a devastating day for equality".                  Wow! they don't like to be told No do they?

Predictably First Minister Humza Yousaf upset that the court supported the blocking of an SNP led legislation, said that the court decision was, "a dark day for devolution".

As is to be expected LGBTQ organisations like Stonewall Scotland and Scottish Trans are less than happy that such liberal and 'progressive' legislation has been rejected.

Yet the majority of ordinary Scots do not support such gender political legislation.

And NO we did not forget St Andrew's Day !

British Movement(Scotland) was proud to celebrate Scotland's national day.

And its not just the SNP and Labour Party we don't like;

BM Scotland don't trust the Tories either!

Nor the Scottish Greens, the Liberal Democrats, the Alba Party and any organisation that is Communist, Trotskyist, Maoist, or 'Woke'!

BRITISH MOVEMENT (SCOTLAND) STANDS BY THE "14 WORDS"

More SNP Scandals - Misconduct by SNP Ministers - the gift that keeps on giving!

More SNP Scandals - Misconduct by SNP Ministers, Missing WhatsApp messages and Sinn Fein at Bute House - SNP conduct, the gift that keeps on giving.

'Honesty, integrity and transparency.'

Or is it incompetence, arrogance, misconduct in public office or corruption?

Another MSP exposed to public scrutiny, Michael Matheson, the SNP Health Secretary has over the last month made several statements in the chamber of the Scottish parliament in regard to the £11,000 iPad streaming bill he ran up during Christmas 2022 and the early part of this year. At first the MSP tried to pass it off as a bill to be paid by the Scottish taxpayer, because it was to cover roaming data charges on his official, parliamentary iPad.

In fact Matheson initially refused to explain the £10,935.74p data bill. Two weeks ago the SNP Health Secretary faced two days of questioning at Holyrood as to how it was possible for him to run up such a bill on parliamentary business while for part of the period he was on holiday with his family in Morocco over the Christmas and New Year period.

There were contradictory statements to the Scottish Parliament, and eventually Matheson claimed that he had "withheld" information in order to shield his family from media attention and intrusive journalists.

The truth is that the bulk of the roaming data bill was run up by his teenage sons, who were using the iPad to watch Scottish football matches while they were on holiday in Morocco. A cost of £8,666 worth of data on Sunday January 2nd 2023 alone!

Finally, he gave a reasonably honest explanation and has reluctantly agreed to pay the data bill out of his own pocket, and will reimburse Holyrood in full.

Hardly surprising is the fact that SNP leader and Scotland's First Minister Humza Yousaf stands by the SNP Health Secretary and believes his explanations. But as Scottish Conservative Party leader and MSP Douglas Ross has stated that Humza Yousaf was, "the last person in Scotland still believing this minister's ridiculous claims."

And for once Scottish Labour are standing with the Tories wanting answers about Michael Matheson's data bill and in addition questions about his keeping 'confidential information' stored on his iPad secure.

As this article goes out on-line, the arguments continue at Holyrood as Humza Yousaf defends Michael Matheson and tries to deflect attention back on the financial record of Scottish Tory leader Douglas Ross.

Watch this space  ......

And Did the SNP Mislead the Scottish Parliament?

The official Covid-19 Inquiry continues to drag on and still the SNP leadership drags its feet about releasing all their communications, especially electronic media messaging. That is in spite of repeated assurances to the Scottish parliament by SNP ministers that the SNP administration would fully co-operate and hand over all their records.

MEANWHILE - SCOTLAND'S FIRST MINISTER HAS FACE TO FACE MEETING WITH STORMONT SINN FEIN LEADER AT BUTE HOUSE.

Humza Yousaf met Michelle O'Neill at Bute House on Wednesday November 22nd 2023, just as his predecessor Nicola Sturgeon had done in the past.

It seems that Humza Yousaf thinks that Sinn Fein are kindred spirits in wanting to take Northern Ireland and Scotland out of the United Kingdom.

Humza Yousaf loves to play at being some kind of statesman, and tries to imagine himself as the leader of an independent Scotland on the world stage of international politics.

THIS IS WHAT THE 'SCOTTISH DAILY EXPRESS' HAD TO SAY:

'Selfish' Humza Yousaf meets Sinn Fein Stormont leader at Bute House in new alliance to break up the UK

The First Minister welcomed Michelle O'Neill to his official residence in Edinburgh, sparking claims that he will 'gladly work with anyone who supports his aim of breaking up the United Kingdom'

There have been no denials of this from the SNP !

GLASGOW PAEDOPHILE CASE: Perverts, Child Molesters and Hard Drugs - Pure Poison !

 GLASGOW PAEDOPHILE CASE:

Perverts, Child Molesters, 'Witch-craft' and Hard Drugs

PURE POISON IN THE CITY

Glasgow Crown Court - November 2023.

This was described as the worst child sex abuse case in Scottish legal history.

Seven defendants were convicted on a string of sexual offences against children, giving drugs and alcohol to children, child rape, and other sexual acts.

It is also alleged the children were forced to take part in satanic "seances" and made to kill animals.

At the hearing at the High Court in Glasgow, the accused faced a 14-page indictment listing 43 different charges which allegedly happened between January 2010 and March 2020 in Glasgow.

Iain Owens, Elaine Lannery,  Lesley Williams and Paul Brannan were also convicted of the attempted murder of a baby girl they put in a microwave oven!

At least four others were found guilty of non-sexual offences but were guilty of common assault and drug related offences.

Even the Mainstream Media were shocked by the revolting catalogue of sexual offences, hard drug use and 'satanic' excuses for the degradation, depravity and corruption of children.

Members of Glasgow paedophile gang guilty of running 'monstrous' child sex abuse ring

The seven-strong sex ring, all heroin addicts, subjected the youngsters to horrific attacks in an insect-infested den.

All were found guilty of raping children and four were nailed for the attempted murder of a tot who they forced into a microwave oven.

The attacks included the horrific rape of one girl who was pinned down by male members of the ring as female members cheered, hollered and encouraged the attack.

There were said to have been “rape nights”, “dance and sex nights” as well as “dog killings nights” held within the property.

HUMAN GARBAGE

Police mug-shots of six of the seven degenerates found guilty at the trial last week

Iain Owens, 45, Elaine Lannery, 39, Lesley Williams, 41, Paul Brannan, 41, Barry Watson, 47, John Clark, 47, and Scott Forbes, 50, were all convicted.

The court was told that another five heroin and cocaine addicts involved with the Glasgow paedophile ring had died before they could face trial including Rab 'Nae Legs' Brown from Townhead, who had both his legs surgically amputated after infections due to years of injecting heroin into his legs and thighs.

After his initial arrest and charges in October 2020, Rab 'Nae Legs' was removed from his Townhead flat by police and taken to a 'safe address' because a crowd of local residents surrounded the block of flats to force him out.

His sometime girlfriend Maureen McLellan died at a property in Maryhill. Also dead is Sreven McHendrie, another heroin addict who died of an overdose.

Poppy Seller - war veteran assaulted at Edinburgh railway station - Are British traditions now so disrespected?

A Poppy Seller - a war veteran was assaulted at Edinburgh railway station by Pro-Palestine 'activists'. Are British traditions now so disrespected?

HOW DID IT COME TO THIS?

Army Veteran, 78 years old Jim Henderson  - a volunteer poppy seller in Edinburgh on Saturday November 4th 2023.

Location was Waverley Street Station, Edinburgh - Jim Henderson was assaulted by a group of pro-Palestine demonstrators who 'objected' to him being there selling 'poppies' for the charity Poppy Scotland - on behalf of the Royal British Legion.

Mr Jim Henderson: He reported to the police that he was pushed, punched and kicked, forced to pack up his stall because the Pro-Palestine protesters did not think that he had a right to be there.

Of course left-wing media sources are casting doubt on the story, trying to claim that the man was not assaulted by the "mostly peaceful" pro-Palestinian demonstrators.

The Left Demand that the White British Show 'Cultural Sensitivity' Towards Ethnic Minority Culture, Religion and Values.

The Left Show No 'Cultural Sensitivity' Towards British Culture.

THE SNP HAVE PUSHED THE MULTICULTURALIST AGENDA IN SCOTLAND.

Nicola Sturgeon was very keen on importing 'new Scots' and was delighted to import 'refugees' and 'asylum-seekers' from the Middle East.

Now Humza Yousaf wants to flood Scotland with refugees from Gaza.

Meanwhile the SNP legal troubles rumble on at the official inquiry into the Scottish government's response to the Covid lockdown. The 'useless' First Minister Humza Yousaf has had to backtrack on his previous statements about releasing internal documents and WhatsApp messages and has had to admit that his predecessor Nicola Sturgeon destroyed WhatsApp messages instead of preserving the electronic documents.

In a classic display of his 'ability' as First Minister of Scotland, Humza Yousaf "apologised unreservedly" about the accuracy of his statements to the Scottish parliament last week in regard to the inquiry requests for 'full, un-redacted copies of its legal advice' during the pandemic.
It would appear that there are accusations of "non-compliance' by the Scottish government with requests by the official inquiry for full access to all government internal documents connected to the Covid pandemic and that access includes all WhatsApp messages and communications.

October 2023 Ends on a Low Note for Humza Yousaf and the SNP.

October 2023. The Month Ends on A Low Note for Humza Yousaf and the SNP.

First Minister Humza Yousaf seems to have convinced himself that he is some kind of international statesman on the world stage. Perhaps being interviewed by US magazines has gone to his head. Humza is now calling for a ceasefire in Gaza and actually seems to think that his voice will rank alongside national leaders and will convince the Israelis to stop bombing Gaza.

And Humza Yousaf continues to make noises about bringing thousands of Palestinian refugees to settle in Scotland.
There are 2,500 'asylum-seekers' currently being housed in hotels and similar accommodation in Glasgow, the biggest concentration in a British city outside London.

So where are all those Palestinian's supposed to go?

SNP WOES CONTINUE....

SNP - another two defections from the SNP this time to Alex Salmond's Alba Party, during the conference for the Alba Party, Alex Salmond was able to declare that Ash Regan the MSP for Edinburgh East , and a former contender for SNP leader, was quitting to become the Alba Party's first sitting MSP. A day later she was joined by South Ayrshire councillor Chris Cullen, who also quit the SNP to join Alex Salmond's Alba Party.

Yet, another poke in the eye for Humza Yousaf, who tried to pretend to the press that Ash Regan leaving was no loss to the SNP and losing Chris Cullen was nothing significant. Well he would say that wouldn't he?

And also......

November gets off to a flying start with school strikes and closures across South-West Scotland.

The SNP are certainly doing a good job of running Scotland's education system.

Still Not Off the Hook

For all the posturing at the SNP conference in Aberdeen, and her blustering in the MSP chamber at Holyrood, Nicola Sturgeon is not off the hook yet.

There are still plenty of questions hanging over from her time as SNP leader and First Minister of Scotland; the Police Scotland investigation has not gone away yet; and now a whole stack of questions for her as the Covid official enquiry gets under way.

Where are all those WhatsApp messages ?

How come Nicola Sturgeon keeps insisting that all her official communications are going to be turned over to the inquiry but she stone-walls on questions about if some of her 'electronic messages' have been deleted?

Nicola Sturgeon needs to think hard. Trying to deflect public attention away by carefully stage managed reports on taking her driving test, will not wash with the people of Scotland.

So Now Humza Yousaf Wants to Flood Scotland with Refugees from the Gaza Strip.

So Now Humza Yousaf Wants to Flood Scotland with Refugees from the Gaza Strip.

In his own words to the SNP conference in Aberdeen.....

"There are currently around one million people displaced within the Gaza Strip. I am therefore today calling on the international community to commit to a worldwide refugee programme for the people of Gaza.

"I am calling on the UK government to take two urgent steps.

"Firstly, they should immediately begin work on the creation of a refugee resettlement scheme for those in Gaza who want to, and are able to, leave.

"And when they do so, Scotland is willing to be the first country in the UK to offer safety and sanctuary to those caught up in these terrible attacks."

What a surprise that Humza Yousaf, himself a second generation Pakistani immigrant should propose to bring untold numbers of Palestinian refugees to Scotland. No doubt as a practising Muslim he will welcome so may of his co-religionists, think of all the new mosques that will need to be built.

So if Humza Yousaf gets his way, where exactly in Scotland are these refugees going to settle, live and establish 'new lives'?

Given that Scotland's total population at the last census was roughly five and a half   million in total  the impact of so many 'new Scots' from the Middle East will have a major impact on Scotland's ethnic makeup, Scottish culture, Scotland's dominant religion and eventually Scottish politics. Given that most of Scotland's current population is concentrated across the cities and towns of the Central Belt; no less than three and a half million people.

Where is the First Minister of Scotland going to house, provide medical care, social care, education,    jobs for these refugees?  In the Central Belt towns and cities?  Just in greater Glasgow?  Or spread them out ?  Where in Perth and Kinross or Aberdeenshire?  Angus and the West Coast ?  How about Inverness and along the towns of the Moray Firth?

Given the state of Scotland's economy, NHS Scotland, the entire social welfare system in Scotland, and not forgetting the current turmoil in Scotland's schools and education system, how exactly does this social justice warrior First Minister propose to provide for these refugees?

A as a final point here; how can anyone in the ranks of the SNP describe themselves as a 'Scottish Nationalist' when the party is led by a second generation Pakistani immigrant who wants to flood Scotland with Muslim refugees from the Middle East?

It was bad enough when the Scottish Government under Nicola Sturgeon imported thousands of 'asylum-seekers' and 'refugees' from Syria and elsewhere, but now?

AND THE SNP MEMBERSHIP HAVE LEARNED NOTHING THIS YEAR!

SNP on the back foot after the Rutherglen & Hamilton West by-election - and facing defections.

The SNP is on the back foot after the Rutherglen and Hamilton West by-election and now has suffered its first defection by an SNP Westminster MP.

Above: How the Scottish First Minister likes to present himself, a recent issue of the American publication 'Time magazine'. Humza Yousaf displays himself as a statesman and postures to a US readership as "a trailblazer shaping the future".

Obviously 'Time magazine' did not spend too much time looking at his dismal record as an SNP minister over recent years, why else do his opponents call him "Useless Yousaf"?

In a few days time SNP leader Humza Yousaf is due to strut his stuff before the SNP Annual Conference in Aberdeen and the situation he is to present to the SNP faithful  is not exactly rosy.

The SNP were hammered by Scottish Labour in the Rutherglen and Hamilton West by-election, losing the seat by more than a 20% swing to Labour. So bad was this political rout for the SNP that one SNP insider stated that the party had been "skelped", and admitted that members were quitting the SNP because they disagreed with much of its 'radical social agenda' on matters such as gender and education.

The SNP share of the vote in the Rutherglen and Hamilton West by election went into free-fall, but the Labour Party victory was not as great as the Labour publicity machine presents - the number of voters who did not take part was significant.

Add to that the very surprising news that one of the SNP's Westminster MP's has quit the party and of all choices she has joined the Conservative Party.

Lisa Cameron, who until this week was the SNP Member of Parliament for the seat of East Kilbride, Strathaven and Lesmahagow, left the SNP to join the Conservatives because she had suffered months at the hands of what she called, "the toxic and bullying culture" of the SNP group at Westminster, because she spoke out against the party line on the behaviour and SNP party line on SNP MP Patrick Grady.

So much for internal solidarity in the SNP.

It will be interesting to hear how SNP leader Humza Yousaf explains all that and more to the audience at Aberdeen.

Pictured above: Humza Yousaf as he likes to think of himself, and desperately wants the Scottish electorate to think of him as a serious, professional politician.

IF ONLY THE REALITY MATCHED THE GLOSSY PRESENTATION.

And What About Israel  and the Conflict in the Gaza Strip?

It seems the Scotland's First Minister Humza Yousaf has a card in that game too.

It seems that the Scottish First Minister has family members caught up in the siege of the Gaza Strip, and the pending bombing offensive and ground attack by Israeli forces. Humza Yousaf has been quick to tell the media about his wife's family members, her mother and brother, who are trapped in the Palestinian enclave. His brother in law. Mohammed, is doctor working at a hospital in Gaza, and his wife's parents made the trip out to Gaza to visit him and other family members last week. That has to be a serious error of timing.

As a Muslim, Humza Yousaf is deeply concerned for the people of Gaza facing the onslaught by the military might of the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF), and he has stated that, "The world can't sit back and witness the obliteration of 2.2 million people."

A fair comment, the mass destruction of Gaza and its population is a pending humanitarian disaster, but the Scottish First Minister needs to think about his statements because the bulk of the British political mainstream, especially the government are standing in solidarity with Israel and any expressions of sympathy or support for the Palestinians will be held under great suspicion.

BM Scotland wonders if the SNP conference in Aberdeen will display the Israeli flag in solidarity?

Scottish Government Floundering Along From Crisis To Crisis With SNP Humza Yousaf At The Helm.

Scottish Government Floundering Along From Crisis To Crisis With SNP First Minister Humza Yousaf At The Helm.

Pictured above:  SNP leader and First Minister Humza Yousaf doing what he does best, staging a 'meaningful photo-opportunity'.  BM Scotland notes the image above resonates with a traditional Scottish theme. (that is BM sarcasm!)

SCOTLAND'S POPULATION IS GROWING AT THE SLOWEST RATE OF ALL                              THE NATIONS OT THE UNITED KINGDOM

This is not an excuse to flood Scotland with immigrants !

NRS - National Records of Scotland -  census was held in 2022, a year later than England and Wales because of Covid lockdowns.

When Nicola Sturgeon was the First Minister of Scotland, she held a number of photo-opportunities with what the SNP termed 'new Scots', at that time mostly Syrian refugees.          The SNP were always keen to make newly arrived non-European migrants not only welcome to settle in Scotland, but were very quick to grant them citizenship.

The latest census figures for Scotland should not be taken as a green light for the Scottish government to allow Cross Channel migrants to flood northwards to colonise Scotland.

Scottish Government Commits £2.3 million to New 'Drug Consumption' Project

This week it was announced that Glasgow will be the testing ground for a new initiative on drugs and drug deaths, linked to the high levels of HIV infection in Scotland due to intravenous drug use.

The Scottish Government is committing a budget of £2.3 million for the first year of the project to establish a 'drug consumption room' in central Glasgow. The facility will be staffed with trained health care staff and according to the SNP minister will, "offer a hygienic environment where people can consume drugs obtained elsewhere."

So the project is going to turn a blind eye to the use of illegal narcotics is it?

We thought that cocaine, crack cocaine, heroin etc. were illegal substances.

The Chaos in Scottish Education - Another Triumph for Humza Yousaf and the SNP

Schools across Scotland are being disrupted by strikes by teachers and support staff. Failure by the Scottish government to settle pay deals or measures to improve conditions in Scotland's schools. And yet £2.3 million per year is granted to the new 'drug consumption project'.

BRITISH HISTORY IS BEING DISTORTED AND UNDERMINED BY THESE KINDS OF BOOKS

This nonsense claims that there were black Africans serving in the Roman legions that built Hadrian's Wall. It also claims that there was always a black population in Britain across history including in Scotland!

Written by a Nigerian born authoress, 'Brilliant Black British History' is a sinister wedge being driven into British school libraries

Inspired the BLM (Black Lives Matter) movement, this type of false history undermines our traditions, our culture and heritage by claiming, not only that black and other non-white people have lived in Britain for centuries, but also that they made huge contributions to our society and were inventors and helped construct our greatest buildings and art works!

The idea of such books is three fold:- they convince impressionable white children that black people have always lived in Britain; that the White British owe black people a huge debt for their contribution to creating Great Britain; and to convince black children that they belong in Britain and that White people should recognise that and be grateful!

SCOTLAND MUST NOT BECOME A DUMPING GROUND FOR ALL THE THOUSANDS OF ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS LANDING ON THE CHANNEL COAST.

SCOTLAND DOES NOT NEED MULTICULTURALISM !

The SNP Fantasy Continues:- Humza Yousaf is Not Just First Minister, He is Now Also 'First Activist!'

 The SNP Fantasy Continues:

Humza Yousaf is Not Just First Minister, He is Now Also the "First Activist".

First Minister for Scotland and leader of the Scottish National Party Humza Yousaf, has recently declared himself not only to be the First Minister but also the 'First activist' for the SNP's bid to secure Scottish independence from the United Kingdom, but also the 'first activist' for the SNP in the campaign for the coming by-election in October and for the promised General Election in 2024.

Cue to photo opportunities and much confident posturing in Dundee last week, when Yousaf announced his first programme for government, which according to both political opponents and many media outlets was just, " a rehash of existing commitments" made by 'Useless Yousaf' back in May when he first took over leadership of the SNP.

Humza Yousaf once again gave pledges to fight poverty in Scotland,    but also to "listen and to act as we build a new relationship with business." A desperate claim given the recent publication of the report from the Fraser of Allander Institute which said that the "vast majority of businesses did not believe the Scottish government understood their needs."

In the much publicised meetings and press appearances at Dundee, Yousaf promised to expand the planned policies to counter poverty put forward originally by Nicola Sturgeon, and to offer to Scotland, "the most generous child care offer in the UK,"
This drew more political criticism not only from political opponents but also from Scottish anti-poverty charities and child-care leaders. Most telling came from the Director of the Poverty Alliance, "the actions don't yet match the ambition of government rhetoric."
Once again Humza Yousaf is called out for being all talk and promises but fails to deliver.

In fact Humza Yousaf was recently described by the leader of the Scottish Conservatives Douglas Ross as being merely a "Nicola Sturgeon tribute act"!

Humza Yousaf still cannot seem to get it right, for all his posturing at staged photo-opportunities in schools and child-care nurseries, he is proving to be just as incompetent as First Minister as he was in the three previous ministerial posts he held before becoming leader of the SNP.

And Regarding Nicola Sturgeon

Last week Nicola Sturgeon returned to Holyrood and spoke in the Scottish parliament for the first time since her arrest earlier this year.
Some media commentators remarked that Ms Sturgeon spoke as if she was still in charge there and seemed to have forgotten that she was no longer the First Minister.

The Police Scotland scrutiny of Nicola Sturgeon and her previous activities as First Minister for Scotland and leader of the SNP has not gone away. Recent media reports suggest that more details are emerging about Sturgeon's statements and directions given in internal SNP meetings.

BM Scotland: - It Might Be Summer But The SNP Continue To Flounder.

It Might Be Summer But The SNP Continue To Flounder

Pollsters show that support for the SNP amongst Scottish voters is falling.

The latest expert opinions state that the SNP is losing ground to the Labour Party.

The poll figures suggest that Labour could take as many as 24 seats in Scotland at a General election, taking control away from the SNP and Scottish Green alliance at Holyrood and putting Keir Starmer in government as Prime Minister at Westminster.

As BM Scotland has said before, Scottish voters need to be careful what they wish for. If Scottish Labour take control at Holyrood, Scots might find themselves swapping one bunch of woke, leftist incompetents for another.

'Ageist' Remarks and 'Ageism' to Become a 'Hate Crime' in Scotland.

Humza Yousaf is actually pushing to make 'ageism' a 'Hate crime' under the Hate Crime and Public Order act (Scotland), 20021. In addition Yousaf wants to make 'misogyny' and what the liberal left call "toxic masculinity" another target for social policy and education in Scotland.

But it is Humza Yousaf's latest sound bites about "age related" insults, age related discrimination, and ageist 'hate speech' that has set non-woke commentators mocking the First Minister.  Saying "silly wee girl" or "grumpy old man" will now be a 'Hate crime'.

Even some mainstream media journalists have noted that half the jokes in TV situation comedies like "Still Game" will become offences under the law.

When Humza Yousaf was Justice Minister it was generally recognised that he failed miserably in that post, but still forged ahead with a left-wing agenda to make 'Hate crimes' a central feature of Scottish government policy. Add to that the fact that recently Humza Yousaf wrote an opinion piece article in the 'Guardian' the liberal left's preferred national newspaper condemning "toxic masculinity" and macho- culture amongst young men.

Strange where the First Minister's priorities lie, after all Scotland has major problems with drug related deaths, Scotland's drug deaths are three times higher than the rest of the UK, there are major problems in NHS Scotland, the education system in Scotland is chaotic, but Humza Yousaf wants to put his focus on 'ageism', hate crimes and toxic masculinity!

Humza Yousaf might find his position as SNP leader and First Minister under challenge from an old rival.

Kate Forbes MSP is said to be limbering up to stage a leadership challenge in the SNP.

'Useless Yousaf' is facing a growing rebellion within the SNP against his leadership.  A sure sign that Humza Yousaf is floundering comes in his recent statement that, "people need to have a reason to vote for us". That is the SNP.

Assorted national media commentators claim that internally the SNP is going into melt-down.

Kate Forbes has publicly stated that, "Scotland needs a Highlander at the helm", meaning herself. Perhaps Humza Yousaf will consider that statement to be "racist".

BM Scotland likes the idea of the SNP going into 'melt down'.

SNP 'Woke' Stance Backfires on Some More Traditional Thinking SNP Politicians

At the Edinburgh Fringe the SNP Member of Parliament Joanna Cherry was booked to appear at an "in conversation" event, but was forced to arrange for "tight security" at the venue because of threats against her by 'radical elements' from the pro-Trans lobby. Joanna Cherry was booked to appear at the Strand, but then had her booking rejected because staff at the Strand objected to her "gender critical views". Then after a threat of legal action against the Strand, the venue agreed to host her event but she needed the extra security because of fears of disruption or worse from the 'Woke' and radical leftist fellow travellers.

Unfortunately for Joanna Cherry there are those 'activists' within the ranks of the SNP and their allies in the Scottish Greens who totally support 'Trans rights' and the whole 'Woke' pro-trans and gender fluid ideas that are being pushed into Scottish government policies.

Remember not too many months ago that Nicola Sturgeon, while she was still First Minister and leader of the SNP was supportive of 'trans-women' being sent to serve time in women's prisons.  Plus Humza Yousaf has ducked and dived around the subject and has carefully avoided voting in support of gender-identification legislation (in case it offends fellow Muslims?) but has gone along with Scottish government policies on gender identity that are not acceptable in the rest of the United Kingdom.

An SNP related footnote:

Care homes staff in Glasgow vote to go on strike.

It seems that 98% of care home staff working for private sector provider Minster Care Group have voted to walk out, creating a serious problem in the care for the elderly sector in Glasgow.
Up to 200 care workers are due to go on strike.

First Minister Humza Yousaf has declared his intention to become personally involved in resolving the situation and has stated that he is personally writing to the chief executive of the Minster Care Group company in order to achieve this.
The chief executive of Minster Care Group is Mr Mahesh Patel.
Does anyone reading this article note the obvious point here about a company proving private sector care in a major Scottish city?
