 BM SCOTLAND: The State of Politics in Scotland - Campaign to Oust the SNP in 2026.

This year offers Scotland and Scottish voters a chance to topple the SNP domination of Holyrood and to begin the process of getting rid of the SNP as the dominant political force in Scotland. The elections in May 2026 should offer all Scottish voters a chance to break the SNP grip on government in Scotland.

That does not mean handing power back to the leftists of Scottish Labour, nor to gift the Liberal Democrats or Scottish Greens with political power.

This does not mean that this is an endorsement of Reform UK'.

British Movement Scotland does not believe that Nigel Farage and Reform UK are the answer. Reform UK is not a Nationalist political party, it is not even a civic Nationalist party because it has filled its senior ranks with non-white politicians and also some of its local branches, especially in some of England's more 'diverse' towns and cities are full of second and third generation immigrants and 'ethnic minority' members.

Scotland needs another way out of this political mess.

Judge the SNP by its Track Record.

All the money wasted by the SNP government since it has governed Scotland; the ferries scandal, the SNP internal finances scandal, Humza Yousaf and his rants about 'White', Humza Yousaf and his dubious Middle East connections, the crazy pro-Trans gender legislation, the cultural Marxist 'Hate crimes' laws, housing illegal immigrants in hotels, housing illegal immigrants and 'asylum-seekers' in social housing, the list goes on and on.

And what is going on with the SNP government with-holding information about huge financial payments and loans to foreign owned, international steel companies but no steel?

There was a guarantee of £586 million finances to secure energy deals and to buy the old Tata Steel works for business man Sanjeev Gupta and his GFG Alliance company.

Is it because Nicola Sturgeon was in charge at the time?

What has happened to Scotland's oil and off shore gas industry?

Look at Grangemouth and the destruction of the refineries there.

All under the supervision of the SNP governments.

Cumbernauld - What has happened to Cumbernauld?

In the 1960's and 1970's Cumbernauld was promoted as the way forward for Scotland in terms of social housing, town planning, new town layouts and public building. It was the setting for popular films like 'Gregory's Girl' - if you remember that?

Recently Cumbernauld has come under the spotlight of a number of citizen journalists and YouTube commentators, the coverage has been very negative in its coverage of the town centre and some of the surrounding housing schemes, the litter and fly-tipping. 

Cumbernauld has been called the "ugliest town in Scotland."

So what went wrong in Cumbernauld?

Why has this once show piece town gone so far down hill?

The Scottish government and the town council are to blame and funding for local services cut to the bone. Cumbernauld is just one example of a Scottish town in serious decline.

It is time for a complete political change across Scotland.

At every turn it seems that the forces of the political Left are more and more determined to make Scotland a multi-racial, multicultural country. There are so many in the SNP, Labour Party and Scottish Greens who welcome these incoming migrants/refugees/asylum-seekers into Scottish towns and cities and don't care if local Scots don't want to have this kind of population change made to Scotland.

All the Left leaning mainstream media rattles on calling these people 'New Scots' as if that transforms them somehow. Remember when Nicola Sturgeon was leader of the SNP and First Minister, she pushed really hard at this idea and Scotland's multiculturalists have taken that up too. And remember Humza Yousaf and his rant as an SNP minister about "White! White! White!" complaining at the lack of black and Asian people in positions of power in Scotland.

So many 'progressive' politicians want these 'New Scots' but these people are NOT Scots, they do not share Scottish culture, values or belief systems.

For decades Scotland avoided the mass immigration that has changed the populations of so many towns and cities in England and also in some parts of Wales, but now there seems to be a real drive to make Scotland follow this pattern of demographic and cultural change.

Glasgow 

The 'Progressive Left' are determined to make Glasgow a 'Sanctuary City' and totally multicultural and multi-racial.

The Guardian - January 12th 2026 - "Glaswegians square up to Reform ahead of Farage's visit to Scotland this week."

The Guardian is very keen to promote the organisation 'Refuweegee' -  which is a so-called charity based in the city, which offers support to hundreds of 'asylum-seekers' on a daily basis. The organisation says that it "offers free hot meals and welcomes 200-300 people a day."

Wonder how many homeless native Glaswegians or those living in dire poverty would welcome that kind of support?

The Guardian article also gushed enthusiasm over the St Andrew secondary school in the East End of Glasgow because "its pupil's heritage encompasses more than 50 countries and 20 languages."  But no mention of what financial burdens that creates for the school in terms of classes to teach English or for interpreters or whether that holds back pupils who are native Scots in such 'diverse' classes.

It also seems that 'Refuweegee' does not like flag-raising across districts of Glasgow, their 'hub' in the city centre made its anti-Reform UK and anti-Raise the Colours position very clear, "There won't be a person in there that will not have received racial abuse, or felt unsafe because of looks or because of the flags."  Well, no one has forced them to settle in Glasgow and if they feel unwelcome, why not take the hint and move to a country where they do feel safe and unchallenged. Why can't the Leftists and so-called progressive liberals at organisations like 'Refuweegee' realise that a very large number of indigenous Scots do not want their towns and cities to be turned into multi-racial, multi-faith, multicultural communities?

 And What Has Been Going On At Police Scotland?

Recently the lid was lifted on the little publicised policy of 'New Scots' being recruited into Police Scotland. A spate of interviews with a former Metropolitan Police commander, who transferred to a senior command position in Police Scotland enthusiastically stated that Police Scotland would actively recruit from 'ethnic minorities' and especially from 'New Scots' recently settling in Scotland, but she was also keen to see them rapidly advanced up the chain of command into senior ranks and command positions.

A Shocking YouTube video by a senior  Imam at a mosque in Aberdeen.

A number of on-line You-Tube posts have reported on this video put out on-line by the leadership of a mosque in Aberdeen and aimed at Muslim children in both Aberdeen and other parts of Scotland. The video is intended as instructions in  the 'correct way' for Muslim children to wipe their backsides after going to the toilet!  Apparently it is not acceptable to use toilet paper and to be just like regular Scots or British, Oh No!  It seems that there is a 'correct' way in keeping with the directions of the imams and mullahs and preferably using an 'Asian' style toilet not the regular western style toilet.

One leading Scottish You Tuber gave a lot of coverage to the Aberdeen mosque video and he also featured the aggressive warning video posted on-line at the start of the Festive season, which was also aimed at Muslim youngsters and adults in the UK. This video featured a young girls dressed in a hijab warning her young friend and father (who were wearing Christmas themed novelty pyjamas) not to get involved in festive celebrations, what the criticised girl called the 'Christmas vibe'. This is apparently unacceptable under the rules of Islam and other Muslim channels also made it clear that loyal Muslims should not get involved in Christmas at any level especially at so-called 'inter-faith' or 'multi-faith' events.

So much for 'New Scots' fully integrating into Scotland and its culture and traditions.
