BM Scotland: The SNP Persists with Indy Ref2 Strategy to Split from Great Britain but Orkney Wants to Split from Scotland!

The SNP persists with their INDY Ref 2 strategy to split Scotland from Great Britain but now Orkney wants to split from Scotland!

It seems that everything the SNP does or plans to do, turns to chaos in very short time. The SNP has turned Scotland's economy into a failure, NHS Scotland is failing, all social service provision across Scotland is failing, Education in Scotland is failing, the list goes on and on. Even though the Westminster government said 'No' to an Indy Ref Two, the SNP persists in saying that it will use the approaching 2024 General Election as a referendum on Scottish independence!

The SNP itself is failing!

The Police Scotland investigation into the SNP finances and funds continues; the much vaunted female First Minister Nicola Sturgeon 'stepped down'; the SNP chief executive Peter Murrall, (her husband) resigned, so did the SNP chief finance officer; an SNP MP was forced to resign over Covid lockdown breaches and more SNP MP's at Westminster are stepping down.

Now Orkney says that the Orkney isles are so fed up with the way the SNP governs Scotland, especially in regard to Orkney and Shetland, that they want to split from Scottish governance and return to their ancient rule from Norway!

Not a good look is it SNP First Minister Humza Yousaf?

Meanwhile more SNP Members of Parliament at Westminster plan to leave politics before the next  General Election. It was announced many weeks ago that the leader of the SNP at Westminster, Ian Blackford was stepping down as an MP; then SNP MP Angela Crawley said that she was also stepping down; now the deputy SNP leader at Westminster Mhairi Black has announced that she will not stand for election at the next General Election. Although the SNP is keeping it quiet, a total of six SNP MP's at Westminster are stepping down.

This is yet another blow to the SNP as a political party, especially as Mhairi Black was a much vaunted figure in the party, especially when Humza Yousaf described her as "a trail blazer and she had inspired a generation." Really?  Then why is she stepping down as an SNP MP? After all Mhairi Black is only 28 years old, hardly retirement age and she was always held in high regard as the youngest female Scottish MP to be elected to Westminster.

Not a good look is it SNP First Minister Humza Yousaf?

THE SNP WANTS SCOTLAND TO BE AN INDEPENDENT NATION, SPLIT AWAY FROM GREAT BRITAIN - TO BREAK THE UNION.

BUT NOW ORKNEY (and possibly the Shetlands) WANTS TO BREAK AWAY FROM SCOTLAND. AND THAT IS DOWN TO THE SNP!

This week Orkney Council voted to explore legal means to gain greater independence, if not complete independence from the Scottish government at Holyrood. The Orkney council has accused the SNP and Holyrood of "consistently neglecting the islands".

Financially Orkney is faced with crippling financial debts because the SNP ministers at Holyrood had failed to provide sufficient funds needed to run services on Orkney and have refused to provide the £420 million needed to replace the Orkney ferry fleet or to maintain the needed ferry fare subsidies.

The situation is now so bad that Orkney wants to explore closer links to Norway, because up to the year 1472, Orkney and Shetland were under the rule of Norway and Denmark. In fact some local politicians on Orkney point out that the Orkney isles are closer to Bergen in Norway than to Edinburgh.

The SNP urban elite based in Edinburgh and Glasgow regards Orkney and the Shetland Isles as remote outposts. BM Scotland wonders if SNP supremo Humza Yousaf could even find them on a map? But no doubt as the Orkney question raises its head nationally, Humza Yousaf's handlers at Holyrood and SNP head office will rapidly organise a much publicised visit to Orkney and Shetland by the 'concerned' First Minister, with plenty of carefully staged photo-opportunities and press interviews.

BM SCOTLAND BELIEVES THAT SCOTLAND SHOULD REMAIN AS PART OF THE UNION OF THE UNITED KINGDOM AND THE ORKNEY ISLES AND SHETLAND ISLES SHOULD REMAIN PART OF SCOTLAND AND GREAT BRITAIN.
